CBS CHR “92.3 Amp Radio” WBMP New York will debut its on-air lineup on Monday, September 15.
Astra, most recently in middays at Cox CHR 106.1 WBLI Patchouge/Long Island is the first to join the station. She will host afternoons from 3 to 7pm. Niko and DJ Toro, the two staffers who were held over from the previous incarnation as “92.3 Now” will host middays and nights respectively. Niko will be heard from 10:00am to 3:00pm and Toro from 7:00 to 11:00pm.
No morning show has been announced yet, but should be forthcoming.
Astra has previously worked in New York City as a producer at the now defunct “Mix 102.7” WNEW. Her on-air career includes nights at Dance “Party 105” WPTY and afternoons at Alternative 107.1 WLIR on Long Island.
