Rome Radio Partners has launched CHR “103.1 Radio M” 710 WROM Rome/103.1 W276CL Atlanta Junction, GA.
Marketing the station as “the first station geared towards the millennial generation playing a wide variety of Top Hits across multiple genres”, WROM is featuring a broad mix of currents from Pop, Dance and Rock. The station will air the WNCI Columbus based syndicated Dave & Jimmy morning show from 6-9am.

Whoever updated the station’s Wikipedia page consistently referred to the format as being Variety Hits. Going from my occasional monitoring of the stream (which is hampered by the fact that nothing’s showing up under the playlist’s “Further Back” tab), I’d concur that the format seems to be more of a recent/modern Variety Hits than a CHR; I’ve noticed very few (obvious) repeated songs so far.
The “Further Back” function has been fixed, so I’ve been glancing at the playlist every so often. It’s not as broad as I originally thought, but it still seems to be heavier on recurrents.
