Sunnylands Broadcasting sells AC “95.9 Star-FM” KRSX Goldendale WA/The Dalles OR to Gorge Country Media for $100,000. Haystack Broadcasting, who had been operating KRSX via LMA, is assigning its LMA and agreement to purchase the station to Gorge Country Media.

After nearly ten years of leasing Spanish Christian “Genesis 680” WGES St. Petersburg FL, Vision Communications Network is acquiring the station from ZGS Broadcasting for between $550,000 and $610,000 depending on how quickly they pay off the promissory note.

Manna Christian Missions sells Christian 1350 WCRM Fort Myers FL to Aaron Howard’s Genesis Multi Media for $450,000.

In a deal not yet filed with the FCC, Chicago Public Media will acquire Public News/Talk 91.1 WKCC Kankakee IL from Kankakee Community College for $250,000 and five years worth of underwriting. WKCC will flip to a simulcast of 91.5 WBEZ Chicago at 11:00pm on Friday, December 18.

WBIN Media sells Oldies 870 WLVP Gorham/Portland and 1470 WLAM Lewiston ME to Bob Bittner’s Blue Jey Broadcasting for $135,000. Bittner owns Soft Oldies 740 WJIB Cambridge/Boston MA, 730 WJTO Bath ME and Classic Country 1280 WJYE Gardiner/Augusta ME.

Mid-Century Radio is acquiring Silent 1120 WKCE Maryville/Knoxville TN from Kirkland Wireless Broadcasters for $25,000. Kirkland will retain sister Sports 1180 WVLZ Knoxville.

Georgia-Carolina Radiocasting sells Country 1400 WSGC Elberton and 105.3 WSGC-FM Tignall GA to Scott Smith’s Radio Elberton for $175,000. Smith is VP/GM of Cox Media’s Athens GA cluster and a minority owner of Rome Radio Partners.

Monte Sinai Inc. is transferring Silent 1120 WXJO Douglasville GA back to previous owner Exponent Broadcasting for forgiveness of the $400,000 promissory note.

Frank Keeton Aircasters acquires Country 92.1 WTKY-FM Tompkinsville KY, 101.5 WVFB Celina TN, 102.7 WKWY Tompkinsville and 1370 WTKY Tompkinsville from the estate of Elizabeth Bernice Whittimore for $400,000.

South 65 Communications purchases Country “99.1 The Hoss” WHSX Edmonton KY from Hart County Communications for $421,000. South 65 began operating WHSX via Time Brokerage Agreement on December 1.

Juanita Nolan sells Sports 1450 WWXL Manchester KY to Choice Radio Corporation for $30,000. Choice owns Country 105.7 WTBK in Manchester.

Winnipesaukee Network sells Talk 1420 WASR Wolfeboro NH to Winnipesaukee Radio Station LLC for $150,000.

Michael Cuomo is withdrawing his 50% share of Trinity Media Christian 1000 WLNL Horseheads/Elmira NY. Former partner James Pierce Sr. will have sole ownership of the station.

Translator Sales

100.1 W261CB Norwich VT will eventually end up in the Providence RI market as Bouchard Broadcasting acquires the translator from Brian Dodge’s Harvest Community Translators for $75,000. Bouchard will attempt to use the AM Revitalization waiver to move W261CB to Woonsocket RI to rebroadcast their News/Talk 1380 WNRI.

Western Inspirational Broadcasters divests 99.9 K260CK Imlay NV to FM Idaho for $50,000 and a 100kW MTU Detroit Diesel generator. FM Idaho owns stations in the Boise ID market including two AMs that could be paired with K260CK.

Adriana Aguirre acquires the CP for 92.3 K222CL Soncy/Amarillo TX from Community Public Radio for $50,000. The translator is licensed to rebroadcast Hispanic Target Media’s 106.1 KPQP Panhandle TX.

Siga Broadcasting Corporation purchases the CP for 93.1 K226BY Huntsville TX from Gerald Proctor for $40,000. Siga owns AMs in the Dallas and Houston markets that the translator may be paired with.

Bristol Broadcasting purchases 95.1 W236AD Lawrenceville VA from Brunswick County Broadcasting for $40,000. Bristol will likely use the translator in the AM Revitalization with one of their AMs in the Kingsport TN or Charleston WV markets.

The Bridge of Hope purchases 94.9 W235AL Ocean City MD from Ocean City Christian Radio Ministries for $1. W235AL will rebroadcast the buyer’s Christian AC “88.7 The Bridge” WKNZ Harrington DE.

First Ventures Capital Partners continues the divestment of its translator assets with four more sales. 93.3 W277BL Galena IL goes to Mid-West Family Broadcasting for $35,000. 105.5 K288FF Bismarck ND goes to Radio Fargo-Moorhead for $50,000. 96.5 K243AR Ellsworth KS goes to White Broadcasting for $30,000 for eventual use with 990 KRSL Russell KS. 88.9 K205CQ Prescott AR goes to Vision Media Group for $10,000 to eventually rebroadcast Classic Country “1420 The Warrior” KFYN Bonham TX.

Mainstreet Broadcasting Company is acquiring a pair of Colorado translators CPs from Educational Communications of Colorado Springs. 101.5 K268CM Trinidad is sold in exchange for a free ten year lease for a tower site in Trinidad and an additional 10 years at $200 per month. 102.7 K274CU Alamosa is sold for a 14 year lease on the tower of Mainstreet’s 102.3 KSPK-FM Walsenburg and an additional ten year lease at $350 per month. Both translators are listed to rebroadcast iHeartMedia’s 96.9 KCCY-FM Pueblo.

Vic Michael’s Mountain Community Translators adds 98.7 K254CH Laporte/Fort Collins CO and 100.3 K262BV Cheyenne WY from Youngers Colorado Broadcasting for $5000. 88.7 KRKY-FM Estes Parks is listed to originate programming for both.

Nebraska Rural Radio Association adds Silent 100.1 K261BT Holdrege NE from My Bridge Radio for $25,000 to rebroadcast 93.1 KRVN-FM Lexington.

MOR Media purchases 105.9 K290BS Batesville AR from Edgewater Broadcasting for $30,000 with eventual use rebroadcasting 1490 KDRS Paragould.

Professional Antenna Tower and Translator Service sells 99.7 K259CM Moab and 101.1 K266BF Green River UT to Paul Anderson for $20,000.
