Tyler Media returned the Alternative Rock format to Oklahoma City this afternoon with the launch of “92.9 The Edge” K225BN/KOMA-HD2 Oklahoma City at 5:00pm today.
The launch takes the place of CHR “Now 92.9“, which failed to make inroads against iHeartMedia’s “KJ 103” 102.7 KJYO in its over two years in existence.
The first three songs on The Edge were Sex Pistols “God Save The Queen”, Weezer “Thank God For Girls”, and Papa Roach “Last Resort”.
