After nearly a month of stunting as just “100.9 FM” teasing the disappearance of “Bob”, Falls Media relaunched KWFB Holliday/Wichita Falls TX as “100.9 Jack-FM“.
The change comes with a switch from a locally programmed playlist to the national “Jack-FM” playlist.
Original Report 2/8: A change of some sorts is underway at Falls Media Variety Hits “100.9 Bob-FM” KWFB Holliday/Wichita Falls TX.
KWFB has temporarily rebranded as “100.9 FM” while the format continues. Sweepers heard on the station ask, “Is Bob officially gone or is this a technical issue?”, “Hey Where’s Bob?”, and “Does Anyone Know Bob Is Missing?”.
KWFB debuted its now former “Bob-FM” identity in 2007 after completing its move in to the Wichita Falls market.
Domain Insight
It does not appear the change at KWFB will be anything more than a name change. Domain registrations were made recently for 1009JackFM.com and WichitaFallsJack.com from different registrars. Additionally, the new “100.9 Jack-FM” logo is already visible on pages on the station’s website.
