Should Erie drop the branding, Cumulus will be left with just seven " Nash-FM " Country stations in its portfolio in Columbus MS , Des Moines , Fort Smith , Jefferson City , Muncie , Myrtle Beach , and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre . The last station to drop the " Nash " identity was WYZB Fort Walton Beach FL in March 2023 . As the presumed battle over the " CD 92.9 " identity in Columbus prepares to take place, a number of domains have been reserved pertaining to the brand. Registrations for Alt929Cbus.com , Alt929Columbus.com , Alt929FMColumbus.com , AltCbus929.com , AltCD929.com , AltCD929FM.com , AltColumbus929.com , Alternative929.com , AlternativeCD929.com , and Alt929FM.com were made earlier this week by the same registrar used by WWCD Ltd. for CD929FM.com . While likely reserved solely to squat on possible branding for the new brand to launch on the signals, some of them also come close to the branding utilized by iHeartMedia's " Columbus Alternative 105.7 " WXZX.
