A number of domains have been registered for the station pointing to a rebrand or flip to Classic Rock with registrations made for 1005Rocket.com , Rocket1005.com , RocketGainesville.com and the similar 1005RockIt.com , RockIt1005.com , and RockItGainesville.com . WHHZ currently carries the Dave & Mahoney morning show and is jockless the rest of the day. The stations registered a 1.5 share in the Fall 2023 Nielsen Audio ratings. A move towards Classic Rock would place WHHZ directly against Saga's " Wind-FM " 92.5 WNDD/95.5 WYND-FM. Maritime Broadcasting Systems looks to be rebranding a number of its stations in Atlantic Canada to begin standardizing brands. Four of its Classic Hits stations appear to be combining under the " Cool-FM " brand with the company registering 899CoolFM.com for " 89.9 The Wave " CHNS-FM Halifax, 949CoolFM.com for " 94.9 The Wave " CKPE-FM Sydney NS, 989CoolFM.com for " Kool 98 " CJYC-FM Saint John NB, and 1039CoolFM.com for " 103.9 Max-FM " CFQM-FM Moncton NB. Two of the five stations the company is acquiring from Bell Media look to becoming "Hits FM" as registrations were made for 1009HitsFM.com for Variety Hits " Bounce 100.9 " CKTO-FM Truro NB and 1049HitsFM.com for “ Bounce 104.9 ” CKBC-FM Bathurst NB. Great Circle Media has registered KAFFNewsRadio.com . The company already uses that brand for the newscasts across its properties in Flagstaff and Prescott AZ tied to the call letters of Country 92.9 KAFF-FM and Classic Country " 93.5 The Legend " 930 KAFF Flagstaff.
