Eagle Media is seeking a strong, people-first leader to serve as General Manager / Market Manager for our Hays, Kansas operation. This is a rare opportunity to step into a successful market with a solid foundation—and help guide it into its next phase of growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the overall performance of the Hays market, including sales, programming, digital, promotions, and administration
  • Sustain and grow a profitable operation through disciplined budgeting, expense control, and revenue leadership
  • Drive revenue growth by developing strong sellers, supporting integrated radio and digital solutions, and expanding local partnerships
  • Recruit, coach, and develop employee-owners, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth
  • Encourage new ideas and continuous improvement while maintaining operational excellence
  • Represent Eagle Media in the Hays community, building strong relationships with local businesses, schools, and organizations
  • Collaborate with corporate leadership and peer managers to align market strategy with company goals
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, FCC regulations, and industry best practices

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in media, sales management, or a related field

  • Experience with digital advertising and integrated marketing strategies strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Compensation

Compensation is commensurate with experience along with a competitive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), paid vacation and Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
