Update 3/18: 107.9 WLOW has relaunched as Hot AC “Y107.9” playing the “Hits of the 90’s, 2K, and Today”.

Original Report 3/12: Triad Broadcasting’s Adventure Radio cluster in Hilton Head Island, SC and Savannah, GA has made its third adjustment in as many weeks.

First there was the relaunch of “Country 106.9” WGZR as “Bob 106.9” WUBB on February 21. This past Monday, March 6 “ESPN 1130” WFXH shifted to Soft AC/Standards as “1130 The Island” WHHW with 107.9 WLOW morning host Monty Jett moving to the new AM station.

Now the third shoe has begun to fall as “107.9 The Coast” WLOW has dropped its Soft AC (with Smooth Jazz at night) format and has begun stunting as “Shamrock 107.9” promoting the many St. Patrick’s Day events this week in the greater Savannah area. WLOW is hyping it will give away its “Pot ‘O Gold” on Friday, March 18 at 12pm.
