The following message to Mix’s audience appeared on the station’s website and Facebook page: “Thank you to all of the Mix 97.7 listeners that have supported us throughout the years. While we are sad to say goodbye to Mix 97.7, we are excited to usher in a new era of radio in Bakersfield. For those Mix listeners that would like to continue listening to music, you can find some terrific choices at Kelly 95.3 and Groove 99.3. Both are Bakersfield stations with local on-air personalities throughout the day and we hope you give them a listen.”
