A few weeks shy of its first anniversary as CHR “101.7 Kiss-FM“, Deer Creek Broadcasting’s KCKS Chico, CA has reverted to its previous Sports format simulcasting sister 1340 KEWE as “Fox Sports 101.7“. The change took place in time for 101.7 to broadcast Sunday’s Super Bowl.
KCKS was one of three stations to flip to CHR in early 2011 as the market went from having zero CHR’s to three.
