Classic Rock “105.1 The X” KYSX Billings has switched to Country “Twang 105.1“.
The move comes as Kurt Anthony, who operates Variety Hits “Mojo 92.5” KBXI via LMA from Chaparral Broadcasting takes on a similar arrangement with Benedetti Media Group for 105.1. Anthony has options to buy both stations as well.
The Billings Gazette reports that “105.1 The Twang” has an 1800 song playlist, that all include “twang guitar”.
The remaining three stations of Benedetti Media Group have been leased with options to buy to cluster GM Terry Strickland. Those stations are Country “98.5 The Wolf” KEWF, CHR “Hot 101.9” KRSQ, and AC “Magic 107.5” KRPM.
