Woodward Communications has flipped “92.9 Country” WXMM Chilton/Appleton, WI to a simulcast of 80s/90s Hits “KZ 104.3” WKZG Seymour/Green Bay.
The move gives WKZG full coverage of the Appleton market as WKZG rimshots the market from the north. Its current format, which focuses on pop hits from 1980-1995, debuted in December 2012. It also simulcasts on 103.5 W278AU to better cover Green Bay.
The 92.9 WXMM signal signed-on with the now former Country format in September 2011. It had been the local affiliate for the syndicated Bobby Bones morning show.
