i listened to wjhm in Orlando this summer, also knowing that WOMX hd2 had an amp radio channel. Inother words, this has been a project several years in the making. I’ll be honest when i first landed there I assumed the station would be rhythmic urban, but it was rhythmic pop, and mix is too incumbent to make that switch. so I agree, better format branding overall, I actually think this will do ok in Orlando, though the signal is much better in fringe areas.

Another bad decision by CBS involving WJHM. The abandonment of a growing urban music listenership in the Orlando market for chasing the mainstream pop audience isn’t wise in the long term.
