The ESPN brand has expanded in Memphis to a third frequency.
“CBS Sports 790” WMC has rebranded as “ESPN 790” and will pick up much of the national ESPN programming not carried by sister “ESPN 92.9” WMFS-FM/680 WMFS. The new WMC lineup will feature CBS Sports’ TBD In The Morning from 6-9am followed by ESPN Radio’s Colin Cowherd from 9am-12pm, Scott Van Pely & Ryen Russillo from 12-3pm, and Dan Le Batard from 3-6pm. Paul Finebaum will follow in delay from 6-10pm on nights with no St. Louis Cardinals baseball. WMFS carries ESPN’s Mike & Mike In The Morning, local programming from 9am to 6pm, and ESPN Radio in nights and weekends.
WMC had switched from Fox Sports Radio to CBS Sports Radio in May 2013.
