Update 8/23: Connoisseur joins the decoy domain club as it registers a few more to attempt to keep competitors guessing. Country943LI.com, Hits943LI.com, Soul943LI.com, and Sports943LI.com were added after our original report went live.

Original Report 8/21: Gen X Hits “94X” WIGX Smithtown looks to be on the way out with a Rock based format on the way in. Rock943LI.com was registered by Connoisseur on Monday. The company acquired WIGX as well as Standards 1100 WHLI Hempstead, AC “98.3 KJOY” WKJY Hempstead, and Classic Hits “B103” 103.1 WBZO Bay Shore earlier this year from Barnstable Broadcasting for $23 Million.
