Valentine, based at KBIG Los Angeles remains in mornings. John Chimpo moves from middays to 4-10pm.
Original Report 9/25: Clear Channel looks to be preparing to shift Modern AC “B92.9” KOSO Patterson/Modesto to CHR.
The company registered HitRadio929.com for the station on Friday, September 21. Blank Facebook and Twitter accounts point the domain to the Modesto station.
KOSO registered a 1.4 share in the Spring ratings book, down from 2.3 last Fall. A shift to CHR will place the station in more direct competition with Cumulus’ pair of CHR 95.1 KHOP and Rhythmic CHR 97.7 KWIN/98.3 KWNN.

That’s a shame. The station, when it was on 93.1, was a great eclectic Hot AC station. CC went and Premium Choiced it about a year ago now, and the ratings actually went down.
