Update 7/17: As the filings for these sales make their way to the FCC Database, we see that Tyler Media will pay Renda $40 Million for its four stations and receive $1.6 Million from WPA Radio for KTLR and KKNG.

Original Report 7/16: Renda Broadcasting has sold its Oklahoma City cluster to Tyler Media.

The sale brings together Renda’s News/Talk 1520 KOKC, Classic Hits 92.5 KOMA, AC “Magic 104.1” KMGL, and Classic Rock 107.7 KRXO together with Tyler’s “Radio Disney 1560” KEBC, Country “93.3 Jake-FM” KJKE, Regional Mexican “La Z 106.7” KTUZ, and two television stations.

In order to get under the mandated limits for stations owned in a market, Tyler will spinoff “Community Talk” 890 KTLR/94.1 K231BH and Classic Country “97.3 The King” KKNG to WPA Radio LLC. WPA Radio is run by Stanton Nelson, the CEO of Graymark Healthcare, who previously ran Monroe-Stephens Broadcasting with Tyler Media head Ty Tyler.

No price has been released in advance of the FCC filings. Renda recently closed on its sale of its two Tulsa stations to Journal Broadcasting.
