Laura Hardy has exited Townsquare Media Hot AC “Mix 95.7” WLHT Grand Rapids MI as morning co-host after a bit over four years.
Hardy joined WLHT in January 2022 to co-host mornings with ‘Big Joe’ Pesh Before arriving in Grand Rapids, Hardy was ‘Regular Laura’ at SummitMedia Classic Rock “107.7 The Eagle” WSFR Louisville where she rose from Digital Campaign Manager and traffic reporter before becoming morning co-host. She would host mornings solo at WSFR from 2016 until here departure at the end of 2021 while also tracking middays on SummitMedia’s Rock “Z92” KEZO Omaha and Classic Rock “T95” KICT Wichita.
Hardy wrote, “In radio, being let go is called ‘being on the beach’. And I’m kinda bummed to admit, this is my first time here. On Wednesday my position was eliminated, which means I’m no longer hanging out on your radio. Thankfully, I’ve got a lot of great people in my corner, so I’m not worried about what’s next. But to be honest with you, I don’t know where I go from here. Until I figure it out you can find me digging in behind the scenes with Country Minute and spending mornings with my family for the first time ever. Thanks for letting me be your extra passenger for so many years West Michigan. it was the privilege of a lifetime!”
Pesh remains in mornings solo at WLHT.
