After twelve years in the Cayman Islands, Jason Howard is returning to Upstate New York as morning co-host at iHeartMedia Hot AC “99.5 The River” WRVE Schenectady/Albany.
Howard most recently served as Operations Manager for Hurley’s Media in the Cayman Islands with additional duties as morning host at CHR “Z99.9” ZFZZ and weather forecaster on “Cayman 27” TV. Prior to moving to the Caribbean in 2007, Howard served as MD and night host at CHR 97.9 WPXY Rochester and previously hosted nights at Alternative “94.1 The Zone” WZNE.
Howard joins Tracy Villaume in mornings at WRVE filling the slot held by Kevin Rush’s exit in July.
99.5 The River, The Best Variety of The 80s, 90s and Today, welcomes Jason Howard to “The River Morning Show.” Jason co-hosts alongside Tracy every weekday morning from 5:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
“The River Morning Show,” starring on-air personalities Tracy and Jason, features a variety of music from the 80s, 90s and Today, along with fun conversations between the hosts and listeners. The show also features the popular River Celebrity Birthday Game as well as the presentation of events for families in the Capital Region.

Jason Howard joins iHeartMedia Albany from Hurley’s Media in the Cayman Islands where he most recently served as operations manager and morning show host. He was also a weather presenter at Cayman 27 News. Howard also previously served as music director and on-air host for CBS Radio in Rochester, New York where he also began his career as a promotions assistant. Howard is a graduate of SUNY Brockport.
