Townsquare Media flipped “Classic Rock 92.1” KTSR De Quincy/Lake Charles LA to Hot AC “92.1 The Bridge” at 4pm today.
The station fills a format hole in the market, which had been filled at best by Cumulus Media’s CHR “Hot 103.3” KBIU. KTSR had been CHR as “92.1 Kiss-FM” prior to its 2017 flip to Classic Rock.
The station will feature the syndicated Bob & Sheri in mornings and Pop Crush Nights with Lisa Paige. Townsquare voicetrackers Alicia Selin and Matt Ryan will host middays and afternoons respectively. The new format launched with Billie Eilish “Bad Guy”, Post Malone “Circles”, Justin Timberlake “Sexy Back”, Portugal, The Man “Feel It Still”, and Camila Cabello “My Oh My” as its first five songs.
