Radiocraft has announced a number of new station additions for the nightly syndicated “Liveline” hosted by Mason Kelter.
Liveline will debut on Evanov Communications CHR “Energy 106.1” CHWE-FM Winnipeg MB as the show’s second Canadian affiliate following My Broadcasting Company’s “98.3 Fly-FM” CFLY-FM Kingston ON. The show has also recently added Griffin Media’s “106.9 K-Hits” KHTT Tulsa, Bahakel Broadcasting’s “Hits 96” WDOD-FM Chattanooga, and VOX AM/FM’s “95 Triple X” WXXX Burlington VT.
CHWE-FM Content & Operations Manager Adam West said, “Mason just gets how to connect with today’s young adults. Liveline is live, interactive, and packed with energy – it fits right in with the fun, high-energy vibe of Energy 106. We know our listeners are going to love being part of the show.”
Radiocraft VP/Entertainment Scott Meyers added, “We’re ecstatic to bring Liveline to one of Canada’s largest cities, and I can’t wait to see the phones light up with calls from our new Winnipeg listeners. Liveline’s rapid growth amazes me, but doesn’t surprise me. There’s magic in offering a live program, especially at night. With so many pre-recorded evening shows today, having a live program where listeners can actually speak with talent and interact is almost a lost art. Mason has brought back that magic with Liveline.”
Kelter added, “Hosting this show over the past five years has been my absolute honor and dream come true. When Liveline was added by the highly-respected CFLY in Kingston, Ontario, earlier this year, I was extremely excited. Energy 106 in Winnipeg, and Adam West, have a great track record for delivering top-shelf programming and ratings, all while maintaining a solid reputation and glow throughout North American radio. We can’t wait to party with Winnipeg, and this addition will benefit every other Liveline affiliate as well.”
