ESPN has announced the promotion of Mike Foss to EVP/Executive Editor of Sports News and Entertainment following the upcoming retirement of David Roberts.
Foss will work with Roberts on transition through Roberts’ retirement at the end of August. Foss joined ESPN in 2017 after working at USA Today where he launched their Sports sub-brand “For The Win” and served as its managing editor until 2015. He currently serves as SPV/Sports Studio & Entertainment and will now oversee all editions of SportsCenter, First Take, Get Up, PTI, Fantasy Football Now, ESPN Audio and Podcasts, Digital Production and original studio programming on Disney+ including all of ESPN Radio.
