Hubbard To Lease WTLP To K-Love

Educational Media Foundation K-Love KLoveHubbard is leasing 103.9 WTLP Braddock Heights/Frederick MD to K-Love Inc. starting Saturday, August 1.

WTLP has simulcast News 103.5 WTOP Washington DC since 2007. The Class A signal covers the Frederick market and parts of Montgomery County into the Washington suburbs. It is unconfirmed which of K-Love’s brands will be heard on the signal. It’s Christian AC “K-Love” is heard in portions of the Frederick market on 107.3 WLVW Washington and will be on pending acquisition 100.7 WZBA Westminster/Baltimore as well.

The agreement will run through December 31, 2029 and will be extended another three years if neither party provides written termination by March 31, 2029. The financial terms are redacted.

Hubbard Washington GM/President Joel Oxley explained, “Our main signal on 103.5 FM covers most of Frederick County’s population and with the advent of streaming, listeners can get us anywhere in the country.”
