Radio One Sports 92.7 WFNZ-FM Harrisburg/Charlotte NC has agreed to a multi-year broadcast agreement to remain as broadcast home for the NBA’s Charlotte Hornets.
WFNZ has served as the radio home for the franchise since 2008. As part of the deal WFNZ-FM will carry all Hornets preseason, regular-season and postseason game including a 60 minute pre-game show hosted by the station’s Kyle Bailey and Travis Hancock and a 30 minute post-game show hosted by Will Palaszczuk, play-by-play voice Sam Farber, additional station talent, and Hornets radio producer Rob Longo. The station will also have weekly appearances with head coach Charles Lee and regular appearance by additional team personnel. Other Hornets content will appear on co-owned Adult R&B “105.3 R&B” WOSF and News/Talk 107.9 WBT-FM.
