JVC Broadcasting’s Dance CHR “Party 105” WPTY Long Island has shifted to a gold based Rhythmic AC.

The station had been using the moniker “Party FM” since its ill-fated simulcast on 87.7 WNYZ in New York, but has returned to its prior “Party 105” branding with the change from current intensive to no currents at all.

Here’s a sample hour from 1:00pm today:
Go-Go’s – Our Lips Are Sealed
S.O.S. Band – Take Your Time (Do It Right)
Robin S – Show Me Love
Michael Jackson – Don’t Stop ’til You Get Enough
Men Without Hats – The Safety Dance
Pink – Get The Party Started
Britney Spears – Oops!…I Did It Again
Michael Jackson – Don’t Stop ’til You Get Enough
Laura Branigan – Gloria
Cover Girls – Inside Outside
Digital Underground – Humpty Dance
Enrique Iglesias Feat. Pitbull – I Like It
Cheryl Lynn – Got To Be Real

Yes it appears they played the same Michael Jackson song twice in that hour, which appears to be a one time error.
