Texarkana Radio Center has made its second format change in Texarkana since acquiring its cluster earlier this year.
Variety Hits “101.7 Bob-FM” KBYB Hope, AR flipped to Country “101.7 Hot-FM” on Tuesday morning. The station is airing a younger skewing current intensive Country format branded as “Hot Hit Country“.
The change follows the flip of 940 KTFS/105.5 K288FI Texarkana and 105.1 KTTY New Boston, TX to Classic Hits “Hits 105” in April. In addition to KBYB and those stations, Texarkana Radio Center also owns Sports “ESPN 740” KCMC, Urban AC “Jammin 104.7” KTOY, and Conservative Talk “Freedom 107.1” KTFS-FM in the Texarkana market.
