As expected CFMK relaunched as Classic Rock “96.3 Big-FM“.
Just like sister CJKR Winnipeg, CFMK is branded as “Big Hits & Real Classic Rock”. The new brand brings some lineup changes as Ange Stever moves from morning co-host to middays. Operations Manager Rudy Chase remains in mornings with Jenn. Rae Kelly moves from middays to nights.
Original Report 8/27: Corus Rock “FM96” 96.3 CFMK Kingston, ON is running a countdown clock on its website to Friday, August 28 at 12:00pm.
At that time we expect the station will be relaunched as “96.3 Big-FM” becoming the second Corus station to switch to that branding following 97.5 CJKR Winnipeg last January. We reported in late July that Corus registered 963BigFM.com and .ca for the station.
CFMK registered a 2.3 share in the Spring 2015 Numeris ratings. That placed it well behind Rogers Media Active Rock “105.7 K-Rock” CIKR’s 9.0 share and Bell Media Alternative “98.9 The Drive” CKLC’s 6.6 share.
