iHeartMedia continued its total shake-up of its Sarasota FL cluster with the launch of News/Talk “Newsradio 1320” WFLG Venice (formerly WDDV). The station takes the place of half of the Soft Oldies “Sunny” simulcast that remains on 1450 WSDV Sarasota.
Since the start of 2016, iHeart has changed over its entire Sarasota cluster. Active Rock “105.9 The Buzz” WTZB relaunched as Classic Rock “Z105“, AC “92.1 The Coast” WLTQ-FM was shut-down as Country 106.5 WCTQ moved to 92.1 and Spanish Tropical “Rumba 106.5” WRUB targeting Tampa was launched.
