Capitol Broadcasting AC “Mix 101.5” WRAL-FM Raleigh has announced the departure of morning hosts Gene & Julie Gates following today’s program.

The station intends to launch a new morning show shortly, but will run with just music over the next couple of days. Along with the Gates, producer Casey Tate exits. The couple joined WRAL-FM in July 2014 following an eight year run at CBS’ 103.7 KVIL Dallas.

This morning Capitol Broadcasting Company’s MIX 101.5 WRAL-FM airs the final broadcast of The Gene and Julie Show.

We will announce our new morning show in the coming days. During the interim, MIX listeners will continue to hear the music, WRAL-TV news and weather, and traffic from Patrick McMahon they depend on.
