After over 25 years in mornings at Audacy CHR 98.5 KLUC Las Vegas, Chet Buchanan has exited the station.
The station made the announcement in a social media post this morning thanking Buchanan for his time with the station.
Buchanan joined KLUC as morning host in 1999 leading “The Morning Zoo” through 2017 with a detour from 2002 to 2004 to mornings at KKRZ Portland, It was rebranded as “The Chet Buchanan Show” in 2017. He has been paired with Mikalah Gordon and Adrian Hernandez for the past two years.
Buchanan also serves as PA Announcer for a number of sports franchises including the NHL’s Seattle Kraken, WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces, and NASCAR at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Prior to his arrival in Las Vegas, Buchanan held roles that included Program Director of CHR KZHT and Rock KUTQ Salt Lake City, APD/MD of KZZP Phoenix, KKRZ Portland, and KUBE Seattle, and Music Director of KBKS Seattle.
