97.7 WSSM Goshen broke off its simulcast of Classic Hits “The Stream” 102.3 WSMM New Carlisle and flipped to Classic Rock “Rock 97.7“. New WYXX call letters are pending for the station.
The South Bend market has been without a dedicated Classic Rock station since 95.7 WAOR flipped to Sports in 2012. The Stream, Midwest Family Classic Hits “Z94.3” WZOC, and Federated Media Rock “103.9 The Bear” WRBR filled the niche by default. With Indiana stalwart The Bob & Tom Show being dropped by WHFB-FM as part of their flip from Country to CHR, will the show find its way to WYXX?
