Fourteen CBS Sports formatted stations will contribute programming and content to the 24/7 network. The programming will include live talk shows around the clock with listener calls and interaction. CBS states it will have a prominent roles on the network for personalities from CBS Sports, CBS Sports Network, and CBSSports.com. Affiliates will be given the opportunity to regionalize their lineup by selecting programs from other CBS or Cumulus Sports formatted stations.
Cumulus Media Networks will be the exclusive syndicator and sales partner of the network. Programming will commence on September 4 as the network will be begin operatings newscasts and updates for affiliating stations.
The fourteen Sports formatted stations owned by CBS will carry portions of the network content interspersed with their local programming. An additional eight CBS AM’s will flip to 24/7 carriage of the network. These include “ESPN 1300” WJZ Baltimore, “America’s Talk 1660” WBCN Charlotte, “Talk Radio 1270” WXYT Detroit, “Talk 650” KIKK Houston, “KYDZ Radio 1140” KYDZ Las Vegas, 610 WIP Philadelphia, “910 ESPN” KRAK Riverside, and 1010 WQYK Tampa.
Additionally, 67 Cumulus owned stations will replace or add to their existing network affiliations by joining the CBS Sports Radio Network. The network will include Cumulus stations in 25 of the top 100 markets. The only top ten market not included with the announcement is Los Angeles, while Dallas is served by both CBS and Cumulus stations.
The network joins ESPN Radio, Premiere Radio Network’s Fox Sports Radio, Yahoo! Sports Radio, and the recently announced NBC Sports Radio.

In an unprecedented move that establishes what will be the nationâ€™s most listened to sports radio network across the Top 50 markets, CBS Corporation today announced it has created CBS Sports Radio, a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week lineup of national programming from premier entities CBS RADIO and CBS Sports.
Cumulus Media, the largest pure-play radio broadcaster in the United States, is the networkâ€™s exclusive syndicator and sales partner to secure affiliate agreements and ad sales with radio stations nationwide through Cumulus Media Networks. In addition, Cumulus will make CBS Sports Radio programming available on 67 of its owned stations.
At launch, CBS Sports Radio will reach listeners in nine of the nationâ€™s Top 10 markets, with a cumulative audience reach at debut close to 10 million listeners â€“ nearly 90% of them located in Top 50 markets.

Opportunities for affiliates to regionalize their lineup by choosing from select programs currently featured on CBS RADIO or Cumulus sports stations.
