Combined Communications Country “Mountain 99.7” KMTK Bend, OR has relaunched as “99.7 The Bull“.
KMTK is taking a younger “New Country” approach with the rebranding. In the Spring ratings KMTK was second in the market with a 6.2 share, but well behind Gross Communications’ Country 102.9 KSJJ’s market leading 12.4 share.
With the rebranding afternoon host Sabrina Sloan moves to join incumbent Russell Nute in mornings. She takes the spot previously held by former Program Director Donna James prior to her departure at the end of September.

This re-launched station will feature, only the hottest New Country music from today’s most popular Country music stars, including Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Luke Brian and Carrie Underwood. “New Country 99/7 The BULL is today’s hottest Country format showcasing emerging artist and music,” said Combined Communications GM Christine Limburg.
“The Central Oregon Country Audience has been asking for a New Country Radio Station and we think 99/7 The BULL will be their First Choice for New Country Music,” said Combined Communications OM Ron Alvarez.
