Reina Broadcasting Country “My 94.7” KBSO Corpus Christi relaunched on Friday as Texas/Red Dirt Country “94.7 The Rig“.
The move comes as Bogey Broadcasting assumed operations of the station. Bogey operates crosstown Alternative “106.5 The Shark” KYRK Taft. Bogey describes the new station as:
“The Rig” will celebrate and embrace the true spirit of Texas. The pride, sense of independence, freedom, family, and the love of great outdoors.
And of course–THE BEST IN TEXAS COUNTRY mixed in with a bit of Red Dirt. Real, authentic Country music that tell the stories about our lives. Songs from Reckless Kelly, Pat Green, Whiskey Myers, Robert Earl Keen, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Wade Bowen, Jason Boland, Roger Creager, Randy Rogers, and more.

KBSO previously aired a similar Texas Country format as “Badlands FM” until June 2013 when their lease was pulled and “My 94.7” was launched in its place.
