Following the exit of Marko Radlovic in June, Cumulus Media has hired Dawn Girocco as its new VP/Market Manager in Los Angeles.

Girocco has worked throughout the Los Angeles market in her career and was most recently General Sales Manager for iHeartMedia’s “Real 92.3” KRRL, “Alt 98.7” KYSR, and 102.7 KIIS-FM. She has also served as VP/Director of Sales for CBS Radio Los Angeles, SVP/Advertising for the Los Angeles Times, and GM of “Indie 103.1” KDLD/KDLE.

Her role overseeing Classic Rock 95.5 KLOS and Talk 790 KABC will begin on Monday, August 18.

Cumulus Media announces that it has named 20-year Los Angeles media sales executive Dawn Girocco as Vice President/Market Manager for its Los Angeles radio operations. Girocco was formerly General Sales Manager for iHeart Media’s Los Angeles stations 102.7 KIIS-FM, 98.7 KYSR-FM and REAL 92.3 KRRL-FM, where she developed and led cross-platform media campaigns across broadcast, digital, mobile, social and event marketing. Prior to that, she was Vice President/Director of Sales for CBS Radio’s seven-station cluster in Los Angeles, and held positions including: Senior Vice President, Tribune Media Group West for Tribune Broadcasting; Senior Vice President, Advertising for the Los Angeles Times; and General Manager of Indie 103.1 in Los Angeles.

Girocco steps into her new leadership role at Cumulus Los Angeles on Monday, August 10.
