One week after exiting the Market Manager position for Cumulus Los Angeles, Marko Radlovic is joining Spanish Broadcasting Systems as SVP/West Coast Regional Manager overseeing “Mega 96.3” KXOL and “La Raza 97.9” KLAX Los Angeles and “La Raza 93.3” KRZZ San Francisco.
This marks a return to SBS for Radlovic, who previously spent a decade at the company including two terms as corporate Chief Revenue Officer and Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, VP/Sales and General Manager of the two Los Angeles stations.
SPANISH BROADCASTING SYSTEM, INC. (“SBS”) today announced that Marko Radlovic has been named Senior Vice President and West Coast Regional Manager, supervising all operations at KLAX-FM and KXOL-FM in Los Angeles and KRZZ-FM in San Francisco/San Jose.
Mr. Radlovic had previously held various managerial positions at SBS from 2001 through 2011 including General Manager, Market Manager, Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Operating Officer. More recently, Mr. Radlovic had served as President/Market Manager at Cumulus Media in Los Angeles.
“We are very excited to have Marko back at SBS,” commented Raúl Alarcón, Chairman and CEO of SBS.
“Marko’s radio experience and acumen are a matter of indisputable record and we’re confident of his leadership abilities in taking our stations to the highest level of operational excellence. He knows radio, he knows the market, he knows the Company and its people and he’s intimately familiar with our West Coast stations. No one is more qualified to take over the reins,” he added.

Mr. Radlovic will immediately assume his duties and responsibilities as SBS West Coast Regional Manager. He will be based at the Company’s Los Angeles headquarters.

Radlovic joined Cumulus in October 2011 overseeing Classic Rock 95.5 KLOS and Talk 790 KABC. Before joining Cumulus he served multiple roles at Spanish Broadcasting Systems including two terms as corporate Chief Revenue Officer and Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer, VP/Sales and General Manager of their Los Angeles stations. He also served as GM of AMFM Inc’s Los Angeles stations prior to their acquisition by Clear Channel and Cumulus’ Oxnard/Ventura stations.

I worked with Marko Radlovic in Santa Barbara in the late-1980s. He’s always been a sharp guy with a lot of sales-oriented management talent and if he’s exiting KABC/KLOS, Cumulus is in worse shape here in L.A. than any of us guessed.
He’ll land on his feet — hopefully somewhere that will appreciate his talents — but we should be keeping an eye on 790 and 95.5 to see what happens next.
