James Ingstad’s Radio Fargo-Moorhead is selling Farm/Country 1450 KBMW Breckenridge MN to his daughter Brooke Ingstad’s Radio Wahpeton Breckenridge for $300,000. Brooke also owns 96.6 K245BY Moorhead MN and an 11% stake in her father’s Radio FM Media cluster in Fargo ND.

Translator Sales

First Ventures Capital Partners has placed its remaining translator assets in an online auction to complete sales prior to the AM Revitalization process next year. Some of the deals have already been filed with the FCC.

Morgan Dowdy’s Coast Radio Group acquires 89.9 K210EA Fordyce AR (application to move to 100.7) for $35,000 and 103.5 W278AT Winona MS for $30,000. The Dowdy family owns stations throughout Louisiana and Mississippi that could be in play for the translators.

Reach Communications sells 98.3 W252BB Vero Beach South FL to Treasure Coast Educational Media for $30,000 to rebroadcast Christian AC “Christian-FM” 91.9 WSCF-FM Vero Beach.

QueenB Radio acquires the CP for 100.7 K264BX Coeur D’Alene ID from Edgewater Broadcasting for $30,000. QueenB lists Rhythmic CHR “Hot 96.9” KEZE Spokane as the originating station to be rebroadcast.

KOMC-KRZK LLC purchases the CP for 101.9 K270CA Ava MO from Community Broadcasting for $15,000. The buyer will likely use the Revitalization Window to bring the translator to Branson to rebroadcast 1220 KOMC.

David Baughn buys 95.3 W237AQ Killen/Florence AL from William Rogers for $500. Baughn lists University of Alabama’s 88.7 WQPR Muscle Shoals as originating station.

Western North Carolina Public Radio sells the CP for 104.7 W284CO Hendersonville NC to JBN Inc for $25,000. W284CO will rebroadcast the buyer’s Christian 97.3 WFHC-LP Hendersonville.
