Salem Media has closed on its $750,000 acquisition of 1380 WWMI St. Petersburg FL from Disney and launched Business Talk “1380 The Biz“.
The flip gives the Tampa market its second all-Business Talk station to launch this year along with Beasley’s “MoneyTalk 1010” WHFS Seffner. WWMI is the eleventh full-time affiliate of Salem’s “Wall Street Business Network” with a couple more on the way.
WWMI is Salem’s fifth station in the Tampa market along with Christian Preaching “Faith Talk 570/910” 570 WTBN Pinellas Park/910 WTWD Plant City, Spanish Christian “Radio Luz 760” WLCC Brandon and Conservative Talk “860 The Answer” WGUL Dunedin.
