The move continues a major shuffling of the Fargo market following two group sales that has now seen three format changes, a frequency shift, and a station still stunting in the past month.
Original Report 8/27: Following the sales of two clusters and the launch of Radio FM Media’s “Big 98.7” KLTA Fargo earlier this month, the shakeup of the Fargo market will continue as Midwest Communications prepares a counter move.
Midwest has registered 1047Mix.com for what is currently Variety Hits “104.7 Popster-FM” KMJO. The shift of KLTA to Adult CHR on 98.7 left the Fargo market with no station filling the AC niche in the market. A shift in that direction will enable Midwest to flank KLTA on both sides with sister CHR “Y94” 93.7 WDAY-FM .
