In addition to the sale of News/Talk 920 KVEC and transfer of the IP of AC “Coast 101.3” KSTT to American General Media’s Classic Hits “Q104.5” KIQO Atascadero, El Dorado Broadcasters has seemingly shut down operations in San Luis Obispo CA.
Modern Rock “New Rock 107.3” KURQ Grover Beach ceased broadcasting at midnight and was replaced with a Regional Mexican format. Additionally the web presence for Country “96.1 SLO Country” KSLY-FM San Luis Obispo has gone missing and no word on what is now on 101.3 KJRW following the move of KSTT. Andrew Cannon, PD of the El Dorado San Luis Obispo cluster has crossed town to join Dimes Media Rhythmic CHR “Wild 106.1” as Program Director.
Attempts to reach out to El Dorado have so far proven unresponsive.
