Kindred Communications has broken up the “ESPN Radio 94.1” simulcast of 930 WRVC/94.1 W231BS Huntington WV and 1340 WCMI Ashland/93.3 W227CI Catlettsburg KY.
WCMI/W227CI has broken off into its own Sports format as “Cat Sports 93.3” as it supplements the ESPN programming with that focusing on the University of Kentucky. WCMI will carry Kentucky sports along with the regionally syndicated Kentucky Sports Radio from 10am-12pm, along with Big Blue Weekly, The Leach Report, and The Mark Stoops Show. The station will continue to carry Cincinnati Bengals football as well.
