With the announcement that it will serve as flagship station for the NHL’s new Vegas Golden Knights, Lotus Communications Sports “Fox Sports 1340” KRLV Las Vegas will begin airing on 98.9 K255CT Henderson.
That will displace Regional Mexican “La Caliente” 1230 KLAV from 98.9. The deal with KRLV and the Golden Knights will encompass the company’s Las Vegas market stations in various forms. All game broadcasts will be heard on KRLV/K255CT with some games heard in Spanish on “ESPN Deportes 1460” KENO. Golden Knights staffers and players will also make regular appearances on Rock 92.3 KOMP, Classic Rock “97.1 The Point” KXPT, and Sports “ESPN 1100/100.9” KWWN/K265EZ.
Vegas Golden Knights Chairman and CEO Bill Foley and Lotus Broadcasting Las Vegas General Manager Tony Bonnici announced today, April 12, that they have a signed a multi-year partnership making Lotus Broadcasting the official radio broadcast partner and radio home of the Vegas Golden Knights. The flagship radio stations of the Vegas Golden Knights will be FOX Sports 98.9 FM and 1340 AM (KRLV), meaning all Golden Knights preseason, regular season and postseason games, along with a slate of additional Golden Knights-related programming, will be heard live on FOX Sports 98.9 FM and 1340 AM. Additionally, select Golden Knights games will be broadcast in Spanish on ESPN Deportes 1460 AM.

GAME BROADCAST INFO – PREGAME SHOW, GAME BROADCAST AND POSTGAME SHOW
Each Golden Knights game broadcast will be heard live on FOX Sports 98.9 FM and 1340 AM (KRLV) and will feature a 30-minute pregame show, the game in its entirety and a 60-minute postgame show where fans will be able to call-in and discuss the game and other relevant topics live on-air.
Additionally, select Golden Knights games will be broadcast in Spanish on ESPN Deportes 1460 AM. These select games will be announced at a later date.
WEEKLY HOCKEY SHOW
There will be a one-hour long weekly call-in show that will feature Golden Knights management, coaches and players as guests. This program will air year-round beginning in October 2017.
MORNING SHOW REPORT
Fans can expect to hear Golden Knights updates throughout Lotus’ cluster of stations during the week as well, as morning show hosts will give two/three-minute updates on the latest happenings surrounding the team. This segment will also feature interviews with Golden Knights management, coaches and players and will begin airing in October 2017.
EXPANSION DRAFT SHOW
Lotus will broadcast a special, one-hour expansion draft preview program and a three-hour draft night show.
AMATEUR DRAFT SHOW
Lotus will broadcast a one-hour amateur draft preview program and a three-hour draft night show.
OTHER SPECIALTY PROGRAMMING
There will be a two-hour long live broadcast on Golden Knights Media Day, as well as a three-hour long season preview program and a 90-minute home opener program. Please note that timings of all events are subject to change and will be announced at a later date.

To help launch the partnership, the Golden Knights will be partnering on a “Vegas Golden Knights Takeover” of the Lotus airwaves on Thursday, April 13. Fans can listen in throughout the day to hear members of the Golden Knights hockey operations staff and management including General Manager George McPhee, Senior Vice President Murray Craven, President Kerry Bubolz, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Nehme Abouzeid, Director of Hockey Operations Misha Donskov, Pro Scout Mike Foligno, General Manager of the Golden Knights Practice Facility Brad Sholl and Vice President of Ticketing and Suites Todd Pollock discuss the latest happenings surrounding the team.
