Seven Mountains Media doubled up on the amount of “Bigfoot Country” branded stations it operates in North Central Pennsylvania.
Hot AC “The Buzz” WNBT-FM Wellsboro PA dropped its simulcast of 92.3 WOGA Mansfield earlier this month as “Bigfoot Country 104.5“.
Country “Q102” 102.1 WOWQ Du Bois followed suit on Tuesday by relaunching as “Bigfoot Country 102.1-101.3” as it also added a simulcast on the former 101.3 WZDD Strattanville. Each station took on new call letters as WOWQ is now WIFT and WZDD becoming WKFT. These moves doubled the amount of “Bigfoot” branded Country formats the company operates to four joining quadcast 98.3 WRBG Mifflinburg/100.5 WQBG Elizabethville/106.1 WZBF Beaver Springs/106.5 WCFT-FM Bloomsburg and simulcast 92.5 WIBF Mexico/106.3 WDBF Mount Union.
With 101.3 WZDD dropping a simulcast of “95.9 ZDB” WZDB Sykesville/Du Bois, the latter station rebranded on Tuesday as “Clear Rock 95.9“.
The final change to come this week will take place on Friday, June 2 as Hot AC 92.3 WOGA Mansfield and Adult Standards 1490 WNDA Wellsboro/93.1 W233CB and 93.5 W228DM Tioga will become Classic Hits “WOGA In Tioga“.
