Just weeks after flipping to 1990s Hits as “iHeart 90s 107.3“, iHeartMedia’s K297AK Loveland CO/97.9 KXBG-HD2 Cheyenne WY has rebranded as “B107.3“.

Now positioned as “Everything 90’s”, no other changes accompanied the name and positioning change.

Original Report 6/29: After four days of stunting with Christmas music, iHeartMedia has flipped Christian AC “Up 107.3” K297AK Loveland CO/97.9 KXBG-HD2 Cheyenne WY to 90s Hits “iHeart 90s 107.3“.

The new station is being voiced by iHeartMedia Tucson Operations Manager Chris Kelly, who used to serve as PD/Morning host at “96.1 Kiss-FM” KSME Greeley/Fort Collins.

The first hour of “iHeart 90s 107.3” consisted of:

• Toad The Wet Sprocket – All I Want

The branding follows iHeartMedia’s pattern of bringing some of its original streaming channels to terrestrial signals like “Real Fun Beach 96.3” in Panama City FL and ‘iHeart 80s 103.7” in San Francisco.

Original Report 6/26: iHeartMedia has dropped the Christian AC “Up 107.3” format on K297AK Loveland CO/97.9 KXBG-HD2 Cheyenne WY in favor of its usually seasonal “Santa 107.3” Christmas identity.

W297AK has used the “Santa 107.3” moniker each of the past three holiday seasons. In 2014 and 2015 it predated a format change, which will be the case here as well.

This is the second of iHeartMedia’s three “Up” branded Christan AC stations to drop the format in recent weeks. 103.7 W279AQ Mascoutah IL/KLOU-HD2 St. Louis flipped to Urban AC last month. The format remains on 1280 KZFS/99.3 K257FX Spokane WA.
