Entercom CHR “Live 101.5” KALV Phoenix has promoted Chris ‘Decipha’ Hernandez to Program Director.
Hernandez had previously served as Assistant Program Director and Music Director at KALV. He began his career at the station in 2009 as a mixer and added imaging director duties in 2010 and rose to APD/MD in 2014. He also tracks late nights on the station.
He fills the KALV PD reigns that has been held by Tim Richards since 2014. Richards remains as VP/Programming for Entercom Phoenix and Program Director of Country 107.9 KMLE.
Entercom, the #1 creator of live, original, local audio content in the United States, announced that Chris “DECiPHA” Hernandez has been promoted to the role of Program Director for LIVE 101.5 in Phoenix (KALV-FM). Hernandez was previously the Assistant Program Director and Music Director for the station.

Hernandez began as an on-air mixer on 101.5 JAMZ in 2009 and was promoted to the role of Imaging Director in 2010.
