Cox Media Group has appointed Steve Stewart of Director of Programming Operations for its Orlando FL music stations and Will Calder as Director of Branding and Programming for CHR “Power 95.3” WPYO.

Stewart will oversee Country “K92.3” WWKA, Urban AC “Star 94.5” WCFB, WPYO, Classic Rock 98.9 WMMO, and Spanish AC “107.3 Solo Exitos” W297BB/WCFB-HD2. He will also handle day-to-day programming duties for WWKA.

Stewart most recently programmed iHeartMedia Country “Big 95.5” WEBG Chicago until his exit in April. He has also programmed Country “93.7 The Bull” KSD and Classic Hits 103.3 KLOU St. Louis and as PD/Morning Host at Citadel Media’s “Thunder 94.5” WTNR Grand Rapids and stations in Myrtle Beach and Springfield MA.

Calder exited his position as APD/MD/Imaging Director/Midday host at Entercom Rhythmic CHR “Power 96” WPOW-FM Miami earlier this month. He has also served as APD of “Z88.9” WBZC Pemberton NJ and worked at CBS Radio’s “92.3 Now” WNOW-FM and “92.3 Amp Radio” WBMP New York, Entercom’s “103.7 Kiss-FM” WXSS Milwaukee, and “Energy 92.7/5” WKIE/WKIF/WDEK Chicago.

Cox Media Group Orlando has named Steve Stewart, Director of Programming Operations for K92.3 FM, Power 95.3 FM, Star 94.5 FM, WMMO 98.9 FM and 107.3 FM Solo Exitos. Stewart will also oversee day-to-day programming duties on K92.3 and reports directly to Jason Meder, General Manager of CMG Orlando.
