iHeartMedia AC “My 101.7” WHOF North Canton OH is promoting it will debut a new format on December 26.
Currently branding on-air as “Christmas 101.7“, the move follows the promotion of morning host Scott Davidson to Program Director last month. The station ranked third in the Spring 2018 Nielsen Ratings with a 5.0 share.

On December 26, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. a new radio station will debut on 101.7 FM. Until then, we’ve transformed into Christmas 101.7, Canton’s Official Christmas Music Station.
If you’ve been a listener to My 101.7, we want to take a moment to say thank you. It’s been a fun time, but all good things come to an end. We hope you’ll check out the new radio station on 101.7.

Maybe that explains why they played “End Of The Road” by Boyz 2 Men before the Christmas switch.
A 5.0 share…..that seems a bit high to be making a major change.
