Elvis Duran Group Takes Over Management Of Fantasy Sports Radio Network

The Elvis Duran Group, run by syndicated host Elvis Duran and agent David Katz, has announced a partnership with SportsGrid Inc. to take over the programming, marketing, sales, and distribution of Fantasy Sports Radio Network aka “FNTSY Radio“.

The FNTSY Radio programming is currently heard on their dedicated app, iHeart Radio and TuneIn. Focusing of fantasy sports and sports gambling, the network is connected to the cable/OTT television network of the same name and shares some programming with the video service.

The network is mostly known for being the home of Craig Carton between his resignation from WFAN New York and his conviction for running a Ponzi scheme between March and October of 2018.

SportsGrid, Inc., one of the country’s leading suppliers of fantasy and sports wagering information services, partners with the Elvis Duran Group (EDG), a privately held entertainment company founded by radio and media personality Elvis Duran and talent agent David Katz. In the exclusive arrangement, EDG will be responsible for programming, marketing, sales and distribution of SportsGrid’s Fantasy Sports Radio Network (FNTSY Radio).
With more than 75 hours per week of programming distributed via streaming/on-demand video, OTT and linear TV, FNTSY Radio is a sports-centric digital broadcasting platform. The free digital streaming audio platform can be heard on the FNTSY Radio app, iHeart Radio and TuneIn.
According to the Fantasy Sports Trade Association, 60 million North Americans play fantasy sports, spending $26 billion annually. With the recent Supreme Court decision allowing states to determine the legality of sports wagering, that number is expected to increase dramatically as the American Gaming Association survey found that more than 28 million Americans are more likely to wager on sports in a legal environment.
