The Estate of Joel Kinlow sells Gospel 860 KLRG Sheridan/Little Rock, 94.5 K233BF Greenbrier and Silent 1190 KJJI White Hall/98.9 K255AX Pine Bluff to Jay and Devon Brentlinger’s Broadcast Industry Group for $252,000 and an immediate LMA. Broadcast Industry Group will also LMA six stations and two translators from High Plains Radio Network: 690 KAFN/99.3 K257GP Benton, 1310 KZYP Malvern/104.1 K281CK Sheridan, 1240 KVRC Arkadelphia, 100.9 KDEL-FM Arkadelphia, 99.7 KWPS-FM Caddo Valley/Hot Springs, and 106.9 KYXK Gurdon. Brentlinger is the former President of broadcast processing company Orban.
Mike Parchman’s Consolidated Media LLC is reorganizing his Central Tennessee properties. Consolidated Media will pay $1 to transfer 105.1 WVWF Waverly TN from his Cumberland Radio Partners. Consolidated will also pay $1 and assume the $151,000 promissory note owed to Hank & Grace Bonecutter for 1400 WVWB/105.5 W288BQ Clarksville TN.
Consolidated Media is also acquiring 790 WVWK/103.9 W280FN Ashland City TN from Sycamore Valley Broadcasting for $100,000. The company began operating the stations last month via LMA.
Don Curtis is expanding his stake in Foothills Radio Group from 45% to 90% by acquiring George Bunch’s stake for $150,000. Bill McClatchey retains his 10% stake in the company that owns Soft Oldies “Just Right Radio” 1340 WJRI, “Classic Hits 104.5” 1080 WKGX, and Country “Kicks 103.3” WKVS Lenoir NC.
XL Media will acquire “Radio Punjab” 660 KGSV Oildale/102.5 K273CB Bakersfield CA from Akal Broadcasting Company in an ownership restructuring. The principles of XL Media hold 80% of Akal. No terms of compensation were included in the filing.
Stu and Nancy Epperson’s Truth Broadcasting purchases 590 WLES Bon Air/Richmond VA from their Delmarva Educational Association for $125,000. The station will be operated under an immediate LMA as the station already operates as part of Truth’s Christian Preaching “Truth Network“.
